Friday's Party

We have assigned different odds and ends to specific students. For example, one student is bring cups. Another student is bringing plates. If your child doesn't have a specific item he/she signed up for feel free to send in some type of treat (pretzels, cupcakes, cookies, candy, etc.).

We have had many students already bring in their wrapped book for the book exchange. Send them in ahead of time so there isn't anyone forgetting to do so on Friday. Thanks. The kids are really excited!

Homework Help

If any of the students want to check one problem of their homework it is posted on Edmodo. They can also print it if they need an extra copy. Also, make sure each student views the video on Edmodo about fractions and decimals.

Party Friday

We will have a small Christmas Party with cookies, chips, pretzels, and more. I asked each student to talk with their parents about what they might want to bring in. We will need some students to bring in things like paper plates, napkins, cups, and juice. I will send home a sheet in the next day or so with a signup so everyone doesn't bring the same thing.

Also, I explained we will have a small book exchange. Each student should bring in a book wrapped in newspaper, wrapping paper, or whatever. I told the students they should bring a book that is collecting dust on their book shelves. If a student wants to go to the store and buy a new book to put in the book exchange that would be fine, but it isn't necessary. The idea is to exchange a book and get a book. Please have the students start sending those in and we will place them under our tree for Friday.
