Congratulations to those who made the short list.

Chaperones Needed June 7th

I will need a few chaperones for our History Museum Field trip, June 7th. We leave the school at 12:15 and arrive back about 2:15. The kids split up into groups and do a scavenger hunt around the museum looking for different things. If you are willing to help out, just send in a note with your child.

Thank you!

Wright Brothers

A fun video we watched about the Wright Brothers. This week's story is told from their sister's point of view. We have learned a lot about the brothers.

Good News...It's Back

Note to Fourth Grade Parents:

As we wrap up the 2010-2011 school year, we look forward to special projects, field trips and school-wide events. Please be on the look-out for further information as the Harrison Hill calendar fills up with fun for everyone!

One event that we are anticipating for the fourth grade is our (2nd Annual) Spelling Bee. We are currently planning on having an outside championship round June 2nd, after the Fourth Grade Talent Showcase. More information will be forthcoming!

Every student will receive a list of the approved bee words- If your child is interested in progressing to the grade-level round, please find fun and interesting ways to help him or her study at home! And good luck!

Sincerely,

Mr. Burgette, Mr. Dettmer, Mrs. Gilbert, Mrs. Keller, and Mrs. McGinnis

P.S. Last year, Mr. Burgette’s class won; can he keep the title this year??
